SHIPPING POLICY
FragTrends is committed to delivering your luxury fragrance products safely and promptly. This shipping policy outlines our delivery procedures, costs, timelines, and handling practices for orders placed through our Shopify store. All prices displayed on our website include applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax) as per Indian tax regulations.
Domestic Shipping:
· FragTrends ships to all locations within India, including states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and all other Indian territories.
· We do not currently ship to J&K region.
International Shipping:
· International orders are currently not available. We serve domestic India customers only.
1.3 Shipping Methods and Costs
Standard Shipping:
· Delivery Timeline: 4-7 business days from order placement
· Shipping Cost: ₹50-₹150 (varies by location and product weight)
· Coverage: Pan-India service through trusted courier partners
Express Shipping:
· Delivery Timeline: 2-3 business days from order placement
· Shipping Cost: ₹200-₹300 (varies by location)
· Coverage: Major metro cities and tier-1 towns
Premium Overnight Delivery:
· Delivery Timeline: Next day delivery (available for metro cities)
· Shipping Cost: ₹350-₹500 (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai)
· Secure packaging with premium protective materials
· Fragrance-specific bubble wrapping and cushioning
· Climate-controlled storage during transit
· Courier insurance coverage up to ₹500 per package
· Tracking number and SMS notifications
· Order Confirmation: Processed within 24 hours of successful payment
· Quality Check & Packing: 1-2 business days
· Handover to Courier: Within 2-3 business days
· In Transit: As per selected shipping method
Note: Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
The following items cannot be shipped:
· Opened or tampered fragrance bottles
· Samples or decanted perfumes (only full bottles)
· Defective or damaged products (customer will be notified before shipment)
· Products with missing or illegible batch codes
1.7 Fragrance-Specific Shipping Considerations
Climate Control: FragTrends recognizes that perfumes are sensitive to temperature and humidity. Our packaging includes:
· Insulated packaging materials during summer months
· Air-tight sealing to prevent oxidation
· UV-protective outer packaging
· Protective caps and seals on all bottles
Leakage or Spillage:
· In rare cases of leakage during transit (beyond our control), customers will be notified immediately
· Replacement or refund will be offered as per our Return & Exchange Policy (Section 2)
· Courier partner's insurance covers damage up to ₹500
1.8 Tracking and Notifications
· Tracking Number: Provided via email and SMS within 2-3 business days of order placement
· Live Tracking: Access real-time delivery status through courier partner's website
· Delivery Notifications: SMS alerts at each milestone (dispatch, in-transit, out for delivery, delivered)
Late Deliveries:
· FragTrends is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather, or natural calamities
· In case of persistent delays (beyond 10 business days), customers can request refund or reshipment
Lost or Undelivered Packages:
· If a package is marked "delivered" but not received, customer must report within 3 days
· FragTrends will file a trace request with the courier partner
· Resolution typically takes 5-7 working days
· If unresolved, full refund or reshipment will be offered
Failed Delivery Attempts:
· Courier will attempt delivery 2-3 times
· Packages unclaimed for 10 days will be returned to FragTrends at customer's expense
1.10 Change of Delivery Address
· Before Dispatch: Address can be changed within 24 hours of order placement (free)
· After Dispatch: Address cannot be changed; contact support for exceptional cases (additional charges may apply)
FragTrends is not responsible for:
· Delays caused by courier partners or external factors
· Customs duties or taxes for inter-state shipments (covered under GST)
· Package damage due to customer's handling after delivery
· Weather-related delays or natural disasters
